TROOPS BUST BOKO HARAM LOGISTICS STOCKPILE, NAB FUEL SUPPLIERS Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 raided a suspected Boko Haram logistics stockpile in Kurkareta town, Yobe State. Items recovered during the raid operations by troops in conjunction with local vigilantes include 62 jerrycans loaded with Premium Motor Spirit popularly called petrol, hidden in different houses and shops. The wife of Nigeria's late military chief is not among those killed in a plane crash.  I call on the public to ignore the announcement by some media outlets that General I Attahiru's wife is among those who lost their lives. Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has dissolved the State Executive Council, directing all commissioners in the cabinet to hand over to permanent secretaries with immediate effect.  Secretary to the State Government (SSG), all special advisers, including the chief strategist of the Government and the senior political adviser were also affected Delta State Commissioner for Information, Mr Charles Aniagwu, who himself was affected by the dissolution, made this known on Tuesday. CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF, LT GEN IBRAHIM ATTAHIRU DIES IN AIR CRASH The Nigerian Army regrets to announce the passing away of its Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Ibrahim Attahiru.
